- No. 1 Stanford closes out the month of March with an appearance at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic in Maui, Hawaii.
- The Cardinal will be represented by Sadie Englemann, Kelly Xu and Angelina Ye, who will be competing as individuals.
- The Anuenue Spring Break Classic will be played at Royal Ka'anapali, which sets up as a 6,013-yard, par 72 course. Competition will feature 18 holes each day (11 a.m. PT shotgun start).
- In addition to tournament host Hawai'i, the 14-team field also includes Boise State, BYU, Cal Poly, Denver, New Mexico State, Pepperdine, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Seattle, Tulane, UC Davis and UCLA.
- Three weeks ago, Stanford captured its fifth tournament title while Rose Zhang claimed her ninth career crown and tied a school record at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational. Stanford held off a charge from No. 11 USC, winning by five strokes and posting a 6-under score overall as the only school to shoot under par (-1) on the final day of competition. The victory was even more impressive considering the Cardinal opened the final round trailing the Trojans by six shots.
- Englemann has been a steady presence in the lineup, finishing 1-under after solid rounds of 72-72-71 in her last time out at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational, good for a third-place tie. Engleman earned her first career Pac-12 Golfer of the Week honor back on Feb. 28, after recording Stanford's best result in a narrow 3.5-2.5 match loss to San Jose State, winning 4&3 over Louisa Carlbom. After halving the opening two holes, Englemann, who recorded a clean scorecard over 15 holes with five birdies and no bogeys, won six of the next 13 en route to the convincing 4&3 win.
