EUGENE, Ore. - No. 13 Stanford continued its winning ways, taking its 11th-straight victory with a 4-0 sweep at No. 43 Oregon on Friday afternoon. The win pushes the Cardinal to 14-2 overall and 7-0 in the Pac-12.
Stanford raced through the doubles point, earning a pair of 6-1 wins on courts one and three for the first point of the day. Sara Choy and Alexandra Yepifanova led 5-3 on court two.
The Cardinal went on to win five of six first sets in singles play, with No. 12 Connie Ma emerging as the first victory, followed closely by Emma Sun on court six. No. 20 Yepifanova provided the clincher on two, winning 6-3, 6-2.
