  • No. 4 Stanford looks to defend its conference championship Sunday, meeting its Pac-12 foes at the 2023 Pac-12 Championships held on Dexter Lake in Lowell, Ore.

  • Last Time Out: No. 4 Stanford excelled in its final home racing event of the year, earning top finishes in seven of its eight races against both No. 12 SMU and Iowa at the Pac-12 Challenge April 29. The Cardinal started its day racing the Hawkeyes, earning dominant victories over Iowa in the varsity eight, second varsity eight, and varsity four races. The afternoon saw Stanford take on No. 12 SMU, taking commanding wins over the Mustangs in all four races. 
  • In the annual Big Row dual, No. 2 Stanford had a fantastic day on the water, topping rival No. 6 California in the 1V8, 2V8, 3V8, and V4+ at Redwood Shores April 14.  
  • In its second competition of the season, No. 2 Stanford had a successful weekend racing at the 2023 Big Ten Invite April 7-8, finishing first in all but one race throughout the two-day event in Sarasota, Fla. 
  • No. 2 Stanford recorded a strong showing in its season-opening races at the 2023 San Diego Crew Classic Sunday. The Cardinal recorded four runner-up finishes to No. 1 Texas after impressive top heats finishes on Saturday. The Cardinal's closest finish of the day was in the race for the Jackie Ann Stitt Hungness Trophy, as Stanford's second varsity eight boat finished just 1.722 seconds behind the Longhorns' boat. In three of the four final races, Stanford finished within two seconds of the eventual winner. 
  • Stanford comes off one its best seasons in recent history, earning the program's first Pac-12 Championship since 2014 and its second straight runner-up finish at the 2022 NCAA Championships. The Cardinal returns six members of its varsity eight boat that also earned a second-place finish at the national championships.
