Stanford women’s golf earned the No. 1 overall seed for the NCAA Championships and will tee it up at the Pullman Regional at Palouse Ridge Golf Course, May 8-10, in Pullman, Wash. The course will play at 6,405 yards and a par 72.
The 12 teams are, in order of seed: Stanford, Baylor, USC, Clemson, Kentucky, Texas Tech, Houston, North Carolina, UNLV, Sacramento State, Cal Poly and Green Bay. The top five teams from each regional will advance to Grayhawk Golf Club for NCAA Championships.
The tournament consists of 54 holes over three days, with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. PT each of the three days.
Three Cardinal earned All-Pac-12 honors at the conclusion of the Pac-12 Championships: Sadie Englemann, Megha Ganne and Rose Zhang.
Stanford has made every regional field dating back to 1993. The defending national champions will be looking to advance to its 13th straight NCAA Championships.
Rose Zhang, the No. 1 amateur in the world, owns six collegiate wins this season to tie Stanford’s program record. She also won the Augusta National Women’s Amateur. In total, she has won 10 times in 18 collegiate events, setting a new program record for most career wins. She is one victory shy of tying Stanford’s all-gender wins record, a mark owned by Maverick McNealy, Patrick Rodgers and Tiger Woods.
