STANFORD, Calif. – In a complete team effort, No. 3 Stanford swept No. 25 Arizona State, 25-19, 25-18, 25-12, Friday, at Maples Pavilion.
Stanford (10-2, 3-0), which has not dropped a set in Pac-12 play, hit .339 as a team, while holding previously undefeated Arizona State (14-1, 2-1 Pac-12) to a .125 clip. The Cardinal tallied 49 kills, 51 digs, six aces and 8.0 blocks, while the Sun Devils finished with just 27 kills, 41 digs, one ace and 5.0 blocks.
Opposite Kendall Kipp led all players with 15 kills on .393 hitting to go with three blocks and two aces. The Newport Beach native also had a season-high 11 digs, notching her second double-double of the season. Outside hitter Elia Rubin also turned in a double-double, her fourth of the year, with 12 kills on a .400 attack percentage and 11 digs.
Setter Kami Miner racked up 44 assists while controlling the offense, and collected seven digs and three blocks. Libero Elena Oglivie had a match-best 13 digs and put down a pair of aces.

Middle blocker Sami Francis finished with six kills on 11 errorless swings to hit .545 and had a match-high five blocks. Redshirt senior McKenna Vicini added eight kills on a .462 attack percentage and three blocks, including the 400th of her career.
Outside hitter Caitie Baird chipped in with seven kills, four digs and two blocks. Defensive specialist Anna Pringle tallied four digs, while freshman Jordyn Harvey had a kill and sophomore Kelly Belardi added an assist. In total, 13 Cardinal saw the court on Friday.
The Sun Devils were led by outside hitter Geli Cyr's nine kills and seven digs. Opposite Marta Levinska chipped in with seven kills and five digs.
Stanford never trailed in the match, leading wire-to-wire in the second and third sets. The Cardinal held ASU to just three kills in the third. Stanford, which has won three straight over ASU, improves to 78-7 all-time against the Sun Devils.
Stanford closes out the weekend on Sunday at 1 p.m. against Arizona.
