- Stanford returns to the water after capturing its first team national championship at the 2023 NCAA Championships. The program cemented its status as the top women's rowing program in the country with national championship wins in the 1V8 and 2V8 and a fourth-place finish in the varsity four race at Cooper River Park.
- The Cardinal are led by the 2023 CRCA Rowing Staff of the Year in CRCA Head Coach of the Year Derek Brynes, Alben Family Associate Head Women's Rowing Coach Molly Hamrick and assistant coach Megan Biging. Maegan Neihart joined the Stanford staff as an assistant coach in the offseason, returning to The Farm after a stint in Ann Arbor.
