Stanford Signs Six

STANFORD, Calif. – ­­John Kosty, The Birkhofer Family Men's Volleyball Head Coach, and his staff are pleased to announce the signing of six to National Letters of Intent on behalf of the men's volleyball program.
 
"We are excited to welcome this group of six to the family," said Kosty, who is now in his 18th season at the helm of the program. "We have continued to build a wonderful base for our immediate future. I want to thank all of the people involved in bringing this group to The Farm."

Stanford's incoming class of 2028 consists of Kaumana Carreira (Mission Viejo, Calif.), Ryan Gant (Newport Beach, Calif.), Evan Porter (Honolulu, Hawai'i), Kai Schmitt (San Clemente, Calif.), Reed Wainwright (Newport Beach, Calif.) and David Wolff (Wilmette, Ill.).

Mana's teammates gravitate towards him, and we look forward to having him be a part of our culture."

Kosty on Wainwright: "Reed is a refined middle blocker who has played on high level teams that have had great success. Reed brings a great all-around game to Stanford, with his ability to jump serve, read block, and terminate. We are thrilled to be welcoming Reed to The Farm!"
