Scholar All-Americans Opens in a new window

STANFORD, Calif. – Senior Ryan Campbell has been named a first-team Scholar All-American, it was announced by United Soccer Coaches on Friday.
 
Campbell, the 2023 Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Year, had previously earned a spot on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region first team. The All-Pac-12 first team selection started 23 of Stanford's 25 matches and allowed just 13 goals while making 60 saves – compiling a 16-1-4 record while recording 11 solo shutouts and combining on two more clean sheets. Ranked first in the Pac-12 in goals against average (0.601) and save percentage (.822), Campbell finished the season ranked 16th in the nation in goals against average. Her 11 shutouts led the Pac-12, placed eighth nationally and ranked eighth in Stanford history for a single season.
 
Campbell carries a 3.88 GPA as a communication major, and previously earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District first team.
