BOULDER, Colo. – Led by Kendall Kipp and Sami Francis, No. 4 Stanford swept Colorado, 25-20. 25-21, 25-20, Sunday, at the CU Events Center.
Stanford (9-2) improved to 2-0 in the Pac-12, while Colorado (9-4) dropped to 1-1. The Cardinal hit .314 as a team while holding the Buffaloes to a .172 clip. Stanford finished with 13.0 blocks, 33 digs and six aces in its 14th consecutive win over Colorado.
Kipp recorded a match-high 18 kills on .379 hitting, eight digs, four blocks and two ace. Francis added a season-high 11 kills on a .562 attack percentage, and a season-best eight blocks.

Setter Kami Miner turned in her team-best fifth double-double of the season with 43 assists and 10 digs to go with three blocks, two aces and a kill. Libero Elena Oglivie posted 10 digs, two aces and two assists.

Outside hitter Elia Rubin recorded nine kills, three digs, two assists and two solo blocks. Middle blocker McKenna Vicini finished with five kills on nine errorless swings to hit .556 and had three blocks, while Caitie Baird added five kills and a block.

Colorado was led by Lexi Hadrych's 10 kills and three blocks, while Maya Tabron chipped in with nine kills and five digs. Stanford moves to 27-1 all-time against the Buffaloes.
Stanford returns to The Farm next week to play host to Arizona State on Friday and Arizona on Sunday.
