11 Named All-Academic Scholar-Athletes

STANFORD, Calif. - 11 members of the Cardinal have been named MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athletes, led by Andrew Churukian's fourth-straight appearance on the annual list.

To earn recognition, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically with a 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average. They must also have completed one full academic year at the institution and have competed in 50 percent or more of the institution's scheduled competition.

Jackson Painter, Soren Jensen and Riley Pittman all were selected for the third time, while Grant Watson also earned the honor for the second-straight season. Griffen Price, Jack Merrill, Guido Leonardi and Chase McFarland all earned the honor in their first season of eligibility.
