- Stanford women’s golf begins its spring season with the Pac-12 Preview on Feb. 19-21.
- The three-day tournament features 18 holes of golf each day at the scenic Nanea Golf Club in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. The course plays 6,449 yards and is a par-73.
- Stanford won this event last season when it wrapped up fall competition. The Cardinal beat Oregon by 10 strokes for the win, while Rose Zhang was the individual medalist, beating Ashleigh Park of Oregon by three strokes.
- When the Cardinal last competed, it nearly captured the East Lake Cup crown in Atlanta. Stanford lost 3-2 in match play to Wake Forest after beating Texas A&M the day before.
- Stanford earned the top seed for match play after finishing in first during 18 holes of stroke play. Sadie Englemann picked up her second collegiate win, shooting a 3-under 69 to earn the trophy.
- The Cardinal never finished lower than third in the fall (Stephen’s Cup, Stanford Invitational), and won the 2023 Carmel Cup.
- It was a busy winter for the Cardinal, as it announced one of the best recruiting classes in program history and a record number of invitations to the Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
- On the professional side, Angelina Ye picked up her first win, earning the victory in the 2023 Women’s China Open. Additionally, Rose Zhang was announced with Lexi Thompson as the first females to participate in Capitol One’s The Match.
- Spring begins with Stanford ranked #2 in the country, per Clippd, trailing only Wake Forest.
