STANFORD, Calif. - No. 6 Stanford produced two more dominant victories on Sunday, closing out competition during a rain-soaked final day of the Stanford Invitational.

The Cardinal (6-2) cruised past Santa Clara 19-4 in the morning before taking down No. 16 Pacific 14-3 four hours later.

Since suffering back-to-back losses on Jan. 20-21 for only the fifth time in school history since the 2000 campaign, Stanford has won five in a row and is quickly finding its form. The Cardinal is averaging 16.2 goals during its winning streak and delivered in the clutch this weekend with a gritty 8-6 overtime win over No. 2 California.

Stanford next visits UC Davis on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 2 p.m. in a single game as part of the Aggie Invite.

No. 6 Stanford 19, Santa Clara 4

Quinn Healy and Sophie Wallace scored five goals apiece while Kamryn Barone added four as Stanford flexed its muscle in a 19-4 victory over Santa Clara.

Eight different players found the cage for the Cardinal, which led 4-1 after the first quarter and 7-2 at halftime.

Stanford put the game out of reach with eight goals in the third quarter, beginning with Maggie Hawkins' score at the 7:44 mark and closing out with Eleanor Facey's counterattack goal with one second remaining.

Christine Carpenter finished with nine saves in her first career start.

No. 6 Stanford 14, No. 16 Pacific 3

Stanford kept it rolling in game two, building a commanding early lead against No. 16 Pacific and prevailing 14-3.

The Cardinal received goals from 10 different players, led by Sophie Wallace's three goals on seven attempts.

Quinn Healy (2) and Sophia Sanders (2) added multi-goal games while Maggie Hawkins dished out three assists.

Leading 9-1 at halftime, Stanford tacked on five more goals in the second half while its defense stepped up to limit chances for Pacific.

Maya Avital started and made eight saves before turning it over to Christine Carpenter in the third period.
