Pittman Picks up Player of the Week Honors

Riley Pittman named MPSF Player of the Week with 10 goals scored in two top-10 wins

STANFORD, Calif. - Riley Pittman has picked up his second MPSF Player of the Week honors of the season, the conference announced today. Pittman scored 10 goals in two games over the weekend, as the Cardinal topped No. 8 UC Irvine and No. 4 Pepperdine.

Pittman opened the weekend with four goals and a pair of assists on Saturday in Irvine, before an even bigger breakthrough on Sunday.

The fifth year notched six goals for the Card, matching a team season high for goals scored in a single game. Pittman now leads the team in goals scored (31) and points (50).

The 2023 All-America selection was previously named MPSF Player of the Week for week one, after scoring 11 goals at the Triton Invitational.

Pittman and the Card open MPSF play this weekend, heading to Los Angeles to take on No. 1 UCLA and No. 2 USC.
