STANFORD, Calif. - Fifth-year senior Riley Pittman has been named to the Cutino Award watclist,
Pittman, a ACWPC All-American last year, leads the team in points (60), goals (35) and assists (25). The Irvine, Calif. native has already secured MPSF Player of the Week honors twice this season, and boasts the team season-high for goals in a game with six at No. 4 Pepperdine on Sept. 29.
Stanford has seen a student-athlete honored with the Cutino award six times, as Tony Azevedo earned the accolade in four-straight seasons from 2001-2004. Most recently, Ben Hallock earned the award twice in 2018 and 2019.
The Cutino Award is presented annually by The Olympic Club to honor the outstanding Division One collegiate male and female athlete in the sport of Water Polo. The award is voted on by collegiate coaches and made its debut in 1999.
