- The Cardinal heads to Winston-Salem, North Carolina for the NCAA Super Regionals on Friday, May 10 for a 2 p.m. PT battle with No. 6 Wake Forest.
- Stanford has advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals for the third straight season and the sixth time in the last eight tournaments. Additionally, this marks the third consecutive season that Stanford has won its regional on the road, previously beating Harvard in 2022 and Columbia in 2023. The Cardinal has reached the Supers stage on the road in four of the last eight seasons, while no other program has more than one over that stretch.
- Stanford won the Pac-12 regular season championship on April 20, defeating California, 4-1, to clinch the title. The conference championship was the first for the program since winning the outright title in 2021. The 2024 version is shared with Arizona.
- Stanford is 19-6 this season with wins over Saint Mary's, Memphis, Pepperdine, Sacramento State, UC Davis, California (2x), UNLV, USC (2x), Oregon, Washington (2x), Arizona, Arizona State (2x), Utah, SMU and Oklahoma. The Cardinal went 7-1 in the Pac-12 to win the league.
- Stanford moved to 19th in the latest ITA Rankings. Nishesh Basavareddy (16) and Samir Banerjee (55) are included in the latest ITA singles rankings, while the duo of Max Basing and Nico Godsick is ranked No. 62 and the tandem of Banerjee and Basavareddy is No. 85. Max Basing, Neel Rajesh and Kyle Kang have also been ranked earlier this season.
- Basavareddy was named the Pac-12 Singles Player of the Year, becoming Stanford's 21st winner of the honor and the second in a row after Arthur Fery won last season. An All-Pac-12 first team honoree, Basavareddy joins five teammates with all-conference accolades: Samir Banerjee (first team), Max Basing (second team), Kyle Kang (second team), Neel Rajesh (second team) and Nico Godsick (honorable mention).
- Neel Rajesh leads the team with 16 singles wins this season, including 12 in a row, while six players are in double-digits for singles wins, along with Samir Banerjee (15), Nishesh Basavareddy (13), Kyle Kang (12), Max Basing (12), and Hudson Rivera (11). Basavareddy is 13-1 with every win in the top position, and he holds an unblemished 7-0 mark against Pac-12 foes.
- Stanford holds a winning record at each singles slot in dual play: No. 1 (17-2), No. 2 (11-7), No. 3 (9-7), No. 4 (14-4), No. 5 (12-4), No. 6 (16-3), and each doubles position: No. 1 (10-7), No. 2 (13-6) and No. 3 (12-7).
- Stanford is 1-2 all-time against Wake Forest, winning a year ago at the ITA Indoor National Championships, 4-0. The Cardinal met Wake Forest in the 2017 Super Regionals, dropping a 4-0 battle in Athens, Georgia.
- The Cardinal's 12-man roster is loaded with talent: former No. 1 Arthur Fery, last year's ITA National Champion Nishesh Basavareddy, Max Basing (ranked as high as No. 4 last year), Banerjee (last year's Pac-12 Freshman of the Year), three highly-touted freshmen and a series of veteran players with high-level collegiate experience. Fery and Basavareddy have seen tremendous success on the ATP Challenger Tour, with both players reaching their first tournament championship match in October. Fery has jumped into the top 300 in the world rankings at No. 249, while Basavareddy has risen more than 600 spots this season to No. 439.
- Stanford was represented in five collegiate tournaments this fall, with Banerjee posting a team-best six singles wins including a berth in the round of 16 at the ITA Fall National Championships. Hudson Rivera (3), Kyle Kang (2) and Neel Rajesh (2) also scored multiple singles wins in the fall, while Banerjee and Aryan Chaudhary combined for a pair of doubles wins.
- Paul Goldstein is in his 10th season as the Taube Family Director of Men's Tennis. Goldstein’s teams have posted a 166-72 record with a national ranking and a berth in the NCAA Championships in each of his seasons at the helm.
