Last season, in 57 games, Stanford hit 56. The 30 homers have come from 11 different players, including first-career home runs from juniors River Mahler and Ella Murchison. Junior Taryn Kern leads the team with six on the season, already just one shy of her seven from all of 2024, while the freshmen duo of Joie Economides and Sydney Boulaphinh have combined for eight.

The Card made it to the WCWS in 2023 with just 26 home runs hit in the entire season. Last season, the 56 home runs were the most in a single season since 2005, and the second-most all-time. The 30 home runs in 2025 are already just nine shy of the ninth-most in a single season in program history.

Inaugural ACC Outlook » Ahead of the team's first season in the ACC, Stanford went 1-1 against ACC teams in 2024. The Cardinal was picked to finish fourth in the conference in the preseason coaches poll.
