STUTTGART, Germany - Another weekend of international assignments for Stanford, as Kai Uemura, Kiran Mandava, and alum Riley Loos are set to compete at the DTB Pokal Team Challenge on March 27-30. Mandava and Loos will also compete in the Mixed Cup competition on Saturday.
Loos is set to compete in all six events in the Team Challenge, while Uemura will compete in each event besides still rings. Mandava will solely compete on pommel horse this weekend, as he steps in as a late replacement for fellow Cardinal teammate Colt Walker.
The Cardinal trio will look to follow up the success of Stanford teammate Taylor Burkhart, who won gold on floor exercise last weekend in Turkey at the 2025 Antalya World Cup.
Competition begins on Thursday with the Senior men taking the floor for the Team Challenge in Subdivision 2 at 1:30 p.m. ET. The junior team will then compete on Friday at 5 a.m. ET in Subdivision 1. Saturday, March 29 will see the Mixed Cup competition beginning at 2 p.m. ET, followed by apparatus finals on Sunday starting at 5 a.m. ET.
