ATHERTON, Calif. – Led by Theo Snoey, No. 12 Stanford swept Menlo College, 25-23, 25-19, 25-19, Friday, at Haynes-Prim Pavilion.
Stanford (8-10, 1-4 MPSF) hit .304 in its first conference win of the season. The Oaks (7-11, 1-4 MPSF) were held to a .175 clip.
Snoey finished with a match-high 15 kills on .500 hitting, three digs, two aces and a block. Opposite Moses Wagner added eight kills, three aces and four digs.

Stanford came back from a 19-11 deficit to win the opening set. The Cardinal hit .520 in the final frame. For the match, there were 21 tie scores and seven lead changes.

Setter Theoren Brouillette controlled the offense with 33 assists and tallied three blocks. The Cardinal utilized two liberos for a second straight match with true freshmen Evan Porter and Kai Schmitt sharing duties.

Middle blocker Luke McFall hit .714 with five kills on seven errorless swings, while freshman Kaumana Carreira recorded four kills on a .500 attack percentage and a match-best five blocks. Junior Ryan DuRoss chipped in with a team-high five digs, a kill, a block and an ace.
