TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – No. 28 Stanford concluded its 12-day road trip with a 4-1 win at No. 65 Florida State on Sunday afternoon.
The Cardinal finished its first east coast trek as an ACC member with a 3-1 record. Stanford is now 13-4 overall and 6-2 in conference heading into its final regular-season home weekend against No. 4 North Carolina and No. 9 Duke.
Stanford notched the doubles point when Valerie Glozman and Connie Ma picked up their seventh ranked win of the season at No. 1, a 6-4 result over No. 89 Maria Parra Romero and Eva Shaw. Caroline Driscoll and Valencia Xu were also 6-4 winners at No. 2.
On the top two courts in singles, Glozman and Ma rolled with relative ease. Glozman beat No. 112 Eva Shaw 6-2, 6-2, while Ma downed Millie Bissett 6-1, 6-1. It was Glozman’s 11th ranked win in her debut season at Stanford, while Ma has yet to lose since the calendar flipped to 2025. The senior 12-0 in duals.
Valencia Xu finished next at No. 3. Forced to retire in the first three duals on the road trip due to injury, Xu was able to finish on Sunday, but dropped a 6-0, 6-4 decision to Krustyna Lavickova.
Caroline Driscoll clinched for the third time at No. 3 over M.B. Deatherage 6-4, 6-0. The junior transfer is a stellar 10-2 this spring.
Stanford returns to action when it hosts the Tar Heels at Taube Pavilion on Friday at 1 p.m.
