PHILADELPHIA – The No. 4 Cardinal dropped a quarterfinal matchup with No. 5 Penn at day one of the CSA National Championships this morning.
Riya Navani, Amelie Haworth and Yuvna Gupta all picked up wins, including sweeps by Haworth and Gupta.
The loss puts Stanford into the second consolation bracket, where the team will take on No. 8 Cornell tomorrow. The Card topped Cornell at the start of the season, winning 7-2 in November.
