Stanford Snags No. 3 Seed

The Cardinal will look for its sixth consecutive NCAA Championship on April 18-19 in Ann Arbor

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford will enter the National Collegiate Men's Gymnastics Championships in as the No. 3 overall seed, as announced by the NCAA Men's Gymnastics Committee on Tuesday afternoon

Hosted at the Crisler Center at the University of Michigan, the Cardinal will compete in the second championship qualifier session on April 18 at 4 p.m. PT and will be grouped with No. 2 Michigan, No. 6 Illinois, No. 7 Ohio State, No. 10 Navy, and No. 11 Army. 

Session I of championship qualifiers will take place at 10 a.m. PT and include No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 4 Nebraska, No. 5 Penn State, No. 8 Air Force, No. 9 Cal, and No. 12 William & Mary. Each program's national qualifying average throughout the 2025 season determined the NC Men's Championship seeds. 

The top three teams and the top three all-around competitors not on one of the qualifying teams from each qualifying session, plus the top three individuals on each event not already qualified on a team or as an all-around competitor, will advance to the championship finals. Individual and team champions will be determined during the NCAA Championship finals on Saturday, April 19 beginning at 3:30 p.m. PT.

Stanford has won ten national championships in program history, including each of the last five NCAA titles, previously winning 1992, 1993, 1995, 2009, 2011, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024, Last season, the Cardinal rolled to its fifth-straight national title with 425.324 points, joining Nebraska (1979-1983) as the only programs in NCAA history to accomplish the feat. Should Stanford win the national championship once again in 2025, they will assume the longest streak of consecutive NCAA Championships in the history of collegiate men's gymnastics.
