STANFORD, Calif. - In his 19th season at the helm of the program, The Birkhofer Family Head Men’s Volleyball Coach John Kosty guided the Cardinal to a 13-15 overall record and a 4-8 mark in the MPSF (7th).

Snoey and Wagner were both selected to the All-MPSF Second Team, while libero Evan Porter landed on the All-MPSF Freshman Team. It is the first career honors for both Snoey and Wagner. Stanford now has 117 all-conference selections all-time.

Snoey (Offensive – Feb. 10 and April 14), Wagner (Offensive – Jan. 13; Defensive – Feb. 24), and Porter (Defensive – Jan. 20 and April 14) all picked up their first career honors. Additionally, Snoey was tabbed the AVCA National Player of the Week on April 15.

Snoey and junior Alex Rottman, who redshirted the 2025 campaign, were named to the 21-man roster for the United States U23 National Team. The group was set to train for the NORCECA U23 Pan American Cup, July 27-August 4, in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Little-Phillips was recently named an AVCA First Team High School All-American.
Cardinal alum Matt Fuerbringer (‘97) was inducted into the Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame in October. He became the fifth men’s volleyball player to receive the prestigious honor. A member of the 1997 NCAA championship team, he was the AVCA National Freshman of the Year in 1994 and a four-time All-American. He was an assistant coach for the U.S. Men’s National Team, helping lead the Americans to bronze medals in 2016 and 2024. Fuerbringer now serves as the head coach of League One Volleyball (LOVB) Madison, a U.S. women’s professional team which began its inaugural season in January.
Kosty completed his 35th season overall on staff in 2025. He is now 273-238 in his career. He guided Stanford to the 2010 NCAA national championship and the 2014 NCAA finals.
