EUGENE, Ore. -- Stanford competes at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships from Wednesday through Saturday at Hayward Field at University of Oregon.
The Cardinal sends nine entries to Eugene, and totals seven women and three men. Of the seven who qualified as individuals, three are making their first NCAA Outdoors appearances. Of the 10, one is a freshman, three are sophomores, two are juniors, two are seniors, and two are graduate students.
Stanford’s NCAA qualifiers:
Women -- Zofia Dudek (5,000 meters), Sage Hinton (4x100 relay), Alyssa Jones (long jump, high jump, 4x100 relay), Sophia Kennedy (5,000), Alaysia Oakes (4x100 relay), Roisin Willis (800), Teagan Zwaanstra (4x100 relay).
Men -- Xavier Drumgoole (triple jump), Cole Sprout (10,000), Leo Young (1,500).
The Stanford lineup includes four first-team track and field All-Americans: Jones, Kennedy, Willis, and Sprout.
The best NCAA finishes for each of the four, in order of place: Willis (first, 2023 indoor 800; 2023 indoor distance medley relay), Jones (second, 2023 outdoor long jump), Sprout (2022 outdoor 10,000), and Kennedy (fifth, 2025 indoor 5,000).
