Stanford Leads ACC Academic Honor Roll

Stanford's 790 total selections led the conference

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford led all schools with 790 student-athletes to the 2024-25 ACC Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the conference on Friday.

In its first year of ACC competition, Stanford’s 790 selections outdistanced the field, including 668 from runner-up Duke, which had been the Honor Roll conference leader for 36 of the 38 years.

California (602), Virginia (567) and North Carolina (557) rounded out the top five.

The ACC Academic Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. A league record 7,945 student-athletes were recognized in 2024-25, marking the sixth consecutive year in which at least 5,500 ACC student-athletes achieved Honor Roll status.

Stanford’s academic prowess remained unparalleled in 2024-25, producing 25 CSC Academic All-Americans across 14 different sports. A total of 28 programs (10 men, 18 women) finished the year with a team GPA of 3.50 or higher. Meanwhile, Stanford also registered an overall graduation rate of 98 percent in the latest Graduation Success Rate (GSR), with 21 varsity teams earning a 100 percent graduation rate.
