Sheppard Joins US U-18 Women's National Team

Freshman in Oklahoma City ahead of WBSC U-18 Women's World Cup Finals

OKLAHOMA CITY – Stanford freshman Addyson Sheppard has joined the US U-18 Women's National Team ahead of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) World Cup Finals.

The US squad is looking to capture a fifth-straight title, after taking home gold in each of the last four competitions (2015, 2017, 2019, 2021).

Sheppard and the Eagles will be in Oklahoma City for practices and scrimmages, leading up to the competition starting on Sept. 27 at Devon Park. Fans can follow the action all week long on the WBSC’s exclusive GameTime video platform, with daily passes available for $7.99 and full-tournament access for $14.99. Live stats will also be available at USASoftball.com.

Sheppard comes to Stanford from Kingwood, Texas, and is one of four Texans on the 16-person roster.
