  • Top-ranked Stanford women’s golf will send a pair of golfers to the Windy City Collegiate on Sept. 29-30.
  • The tournament will be played at Glen View Club in Golf, Ill. The course plays at 6,368 yards as a par 72. The first two rounds take place on Sept. 29 with golfers beginning play at 5:30 am PT.
  • Kelly Xu and Nora Sundberg are the Cardinal competing in Illinois this week. Both competed in the Big Match win for Stanford on Thursday.
  • This is the second tournament Xu has competed in this season, after she went to Illinois with the Cardinal for the Jackson T. Stephens Cup. She finished tied for ninth overall with a 3-over 213 across three rounds on the par-70 Shoreacres course. She was right at par in the final two rounds of stroke play with 70s.
  • The Windy City Collegiate will be the first tournament of Sundberg’s sophomore season. As a freshman, she scored two top 10 finishes with an average score of 72.28. Her best finish came in her collegiate debut, finishing tied for fourth in The Molly Invitational.
  • The entire Stanford Cardinal will be back together for the Stanford Intercollegiate on Oct. 17-19.
