  • The Cardinal opened its 2026 campaign with scores of 49.000-or-better on all four apparatuses. The last time Stanford earned event totals of 49.000-or-better on all four apparatuses was in the Cardinal's season-opener in 2011 at the Pac-10 Showcase in Los Angeles, Calif. Stanford won the 2011 six-team event with a team total of 196.625, the best season-opening score for the Cardinal since at least the 2000 season.
  • Freshman Ana Bărbosu made a splash in her collegiate gymnastics debut, securing the all-around title highlighted by top-4 finishes on all four events. Her first appearance on the NCAA stage marked the best first-year debut by a Cardinal gymnast since at least the 2000 season and is the second-best all-around total for a first-year NCAA gymnast so far this season. For her efforts, Bărbosu was named the Atlantic Coast Conference's Newcomer of the Week.
  • Sienna Robinson kicked off her junior campaign in impressive fashion, earning the beam title with a 9.925 effort while placing second on floor with the same score. Robinson ranks tied-for-sixth in the nation on floor and tied-for-tenth in the NCAA on beam, the only ACC gymnast to have top-ten national rankings on more than one event in 2026.
  • Redshirt freshman Levi Jung-Ruivivar made her much-anticipated launch onto the NCAA stage at Denver. In Stanford's first routine of the meet, Jung-Ruivivar posted a 9.875 on the uneven bars which secured her first collegiate event title.
  • Stanford was picked to finish first in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) in 2026 following a vote of the league’s six head coaches. Clemson was picked to finish second, while California was selected to finish third. North Carolina, NC State, and Pitt rounded out the league’s preseason poll rankings.
  • Alongside the preseason coaches poll, the conference released the 2026 Preseason Watch List which features 12 gymnasts as nominated by the league’s six gymnastics programs, and the Newcomer List, featuring one true freshman from each program. For the second consecutive season, ACC Co-All-Around and Floor Champion Anna Roberts was picked for the Preseason Watch List alongside junior Sienna Robinson, while freshman Ana Bărbosu was named to the 2026 Newcomer Watch List.
