STANFORD, Calif. — Head coach Andrew Fuller has announced Stanford beach volleyball's 2026 schedule. The Cardinal hosts 16 home matches and will meet 13 of the 2025 final ranking's top-20 teams throughout its 2026 regular-season scheduling.
The 2025 conference champion Cardinal enters its second season as a member of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. The MPSF has grown to 10 members and now includes USC, Grand Canyon, Washington, Oregon, California, San Jose State, LSU, Texas and UCLA.
For the fifth straight campaign, Stanford opens its campaign at the OUTRIGGER Duke Kahanamoku Beach Classic, hosted by the University of Hawai'i at Queen's Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii. Stanford will meet six top-20 programs at the event scheduled to run from Feb. 19-21– host Hawai’i, USC, UCLA, LMU, Texas and California.
The Cardinal then heads to The Farm for its first taste of home action, hosting the Battle of the Bay tournament Feb. 27-28. Stanford will welcome San Francisco, Saint Mary’s, UC Davis and Santa Clara to The Farm for a two-day round-robin style event, battling San Francisco and Santa Clara on Feb. 27 and UC Davis and Saint Mary’s on Feb. 28.
Stanford then travels to Los Angeles, Calif. to compete in the MPSF Midseason Rumble, hosted by USC and UCLA. The event, televised by B1G+, features two days of competition with each school playing four matches against conference foes in preparation for postseason action. The Cardinal is slated to meet Oregon and LSU at USC March 6 and Texas and UCLA at UCLA March 7.
Just a week later, Stanford returns home to The Farm to host the Stanford Invitational, welcoming Houston Christian, Washington, North Florida and Long Beach State March 13-14. The schedule puts the Cardinal up against Houston Christian and Washington March 13 and North Florida and Long Beach State on March 14.
After breaking for finals week, Stanford heads to the Lone Star state to compete in five matches over four days. The Cardinal kicks off its marathon of Texas action at TCU March 25, and then heads to Austin to compete in the 2026 Texas Invitational March 27-28. Stanford is set to take on LSU and Texas on March 27 and FAU and North Florida March 28.
Stanford returns to host two midweek matches with UC Davis and Saint Mary’s April 1. The Cardinal then heads back on the road to participate in the Best of the West tournament in Laguna Beach, Calif. April 3-4. Stanford is scheduled to take on Long Beach State, UCLA, USC and Cal Poly while in Southern California.
The Cardinal finishes its road regular-season scheduling April 10-11, competing at Cal Poly’s Center of Effort Challenge. Stanford meets USC, LMU and 2025 NCAA Champion TCU and will play in a final placement match (1st/3rd/5th/7th Place Match) during the two-day competition in San Luis Obispo, Calif.
Stanford wraps up the regular season at home, hosting the West Coast Classic April 17-18. The Cardinal takes on Cal Poly and California on April 17 and Pepperdine and SJSU on April 18. Stanford’s matchup with SJSU is Senior Day on The Farm and will celebrate the collegiate careers of Line Andersson, Kelly Belardi, Phoenix Clarke, Daria Gusarova, Sophie Kubiak and Ashley Vincent.
The Cardinal's postseason begins in Huntington Beach, Calif. for the second annual MPSF Beach Volleyball Championship Tournament April 22-24.
The program will look to return to the NCAA Championship tournament for the sixth straight season, held once again in Gulf Shores, Ala. The national championship tournament features the nation's top 16 teams in a single-elimination tournament.
