STANFORD, Calif. – Senior Moses Wagner has been named the Defensive Player of the Week in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) for the second time in his career.
Wagner led the Cardinal in a pair of road sweeps at Concordia, averaging 3.17 kills, 0.67 aces, 2.00 digs, 1.67 blocks and 4.75 points per set. It marked the first road wins of the season for Stanford, which improved to 4-0 in MPSF play.
The opposite led the team with a match-best 12 kills on .320 hitting, nine digs, five blocks and two aces on Friday. He followed up on Saturday by again leading Stanford with seven kills, a match-high five blocks, three digs and two aces.
It marks the third MPSF weekly honor for Wagner all-time as he also earned offensive and defensive nods in 2025.
No. 18 Stanford is idle this week and will be back in action on March 6-7 as it hosts Saint Francis in Burnham Pavilion.
