STANFORD, Calif. - The Bowerman, collegiate track & field’s most prestigious honor, featured Juliette Whittaker in the February update of the award's watch list.
Whittaker has been near top form in every event she's competed in early in the season. Opening the season at the UW Preview, Whittaker won the 1000 meters with a program record of 2:37.54, moving to No. 2 in the all-time, all-conditions list.
This past weekend, Whittaker narrowly missed her mile PR, clocking 4:30.97 to finish as the top collegian at the John Thomas Terrier Classic, then later finished second in the 600m at the Millrose Games, clocking 1:25.64 to move to No. 4 all-time collegiately.
A 2024 Paris Olympic finalist, Whittaker looks to reclaim NCAA gold in 2026 after sweeping both the indoor and outdoor 800m national titles. two seasons ago. This is her sixth career Watch List appearance.
