STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford track & field returns to The Land of Enchantment this weekend, as the Cardinal sprinters and field athletes head back to the Albuquerque Convention Center for the New Mexico Collegiate Classic on Friday and Saturday.
The meet marks Stanford’s third consecutive weekend competing in New Mexico, making previous appearances at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational and the New Mexico Team Open. The Cardinal will make one final trip to Albuquerque next weekend for the Don Kirby Elite Invitational on Feb. 13-14.
Stanford has already posted four Indoor Top 10 marks in New Mexico this year. Xavier Drumgoole and Alaysia Oakes each recorded personal-best performances in the long jump, while Zachary Ryan and Gabriel Ajaegbu broke into the performance list with standout efforts in the 200 meters. All four are scheduled to compete again this weekend.
