Double Meet Week Closes Out Regular Season

No. 10 Stanford takes on two meets to close out the regular season: at No. 16 California Friday for a Tri Meet and vs. Boise State at home Sunday for Senior Day

Quick Sticks

      • No. 10 Stanford finishes the regular season with a two-meet weekend. First, the Cardinal travels to Berkeley, Calif., to compete in the California Tri Meet against host No. 16 California and San Jose State. Two days later, Stanford returns home for its Senior Day Meet Sunday against Boise State.
      • The battle between the Golden Bears, Spartans and Cardinal on March 13 is set for a 7:30 p.m. start on ACCNX with Tim Swartz and Evan Heiter on the call. Sunday's matchup of the Broncos and Cardinal on March 15 is set for a 2 p.m. start on ACCNX with Jenna Becerra and Casey Magnuson on the call.
      • Behind a sold-out, record-setting crowd of 7,024, No. 10 Stanford posted its season-high home score of 197.425 in a dual-meet loss to No. 5 UCLA Saturday afternoon in Maples Pavilion. Senior Anna Roberts split the floor title with the Bruins’ Mika Webster-Longin and Sumanasekera, each earning scores of 9.925.
      • For a conference-record-matching seventh time this season, senior gymnast Anna Roberts has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference’s (ACC) Gymnast of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. She now shares the record for most conference awards in a single season with Emily Shepard (NC State), set in 2024. Her 39.550 all-around total against No. 5 UCLA was the best all-around mark by any conference gymnast this week, while six of her eight all-around performances this season have gone 39.500 or better. Roberts’ all-around score was highlighted by her second consecutive 9.975 bars total, the only conference gymnast to reach that score on the apparatus. She also scored a 9.925 on floor to win a share of the event title, marking her seventh routine this season on the apparatus to score 9.900 or better. She is the top-ranked all-around athlete in the ACC, fifth in the nation, and also ranks first in the conference on beam, second on bars, third on floor, and sixth on vault, the only conference athlete to have top-six rankings on all events and in the all-around.
      • Friday's meet at California will decide the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Regular-Season Champion. Stanford has already guarenteed itself at least a share of the crown with a 5-0 league record, but with a victory over the Golden Bears Friday, the Cardinal would secure sole possession of the regular-season title.
      • Stanford has scored a 49.600 team total on bars in the last two meets. The Cardinal became the first ACC team to ever hit 49.600 on bars in consecutive meets, let alone in multiple meets in the same season.
      • The Cardinal rank sixth in the nation on bars (49.371 NQS) and floor (49.436 NQS).
        • The last time Stanford was ranked sixth-or-better on bars in week 10 was the 2015 NCAA season, the last time the Cardinal competed on the final team day of competition at the NCAA Championships (previously was Super Six, now is Four on the Floor).
        • 2015 was also the last time Stanford has ranked in the top-10 on two events in week 10 of competition (2015- UB, 4th; BB, 9th) and the last time Stanford held higher rankings than its current 2026 week 10 rankings on both apparatuses.
        • On vault, the Cardinal's current ranking (19th) last saw a better ranking in week 10 in 2018 (15th), while Stanford's 2026 floor ranking (6th) is its best since 2010 (3rd).
      • The NQS calculation changed prior to the 2026 season. The new equation uses a minimum of nine scores, with a maximum of five home scores (if competing in more than five home meets, the five lowest scores are counted) and all away scores included in the calculation. After identifying the home scores and confirming five away meet scores, all scores will be ordered in descending order from highest to lowest. Then the highest and lowest scores will be dropped, and the remaining scores will be averaged. Stanford has one home meet and two away meets (includes ACC Championships) left to help bolster their NQS and will look for scores above 197.175 to increase its current total of 197.143.
        • Five away scores: 198.150 (A), 197.725 (A), 197.225 (A), 196.475 (A), 196.400 (A)
        • Four home scores: 197.425 (H), 197.100 (H), 197.075 (H), 196.975 (H)
        • Remove the highest (198.150) and lowest (196.400) scores and average the remaining six = 197.143.
