STANFORD, Calif. — Stanford football will hold its Pro Timing Day on Wednesday, March 18 at 9 a.m.
10 Cardinal will work out in front of NFL scouts and media: inside linebacker Hunter Barth, defensive lineman Zach Buckey, tight end Brendan Doyle, linebacker Ese Dubre, quarterback Ben Gulbranson, defensive lineman Clay Patterson, tight end Sam Roush, cornerback Jordan Washington, wide receiver CJ Williams, and cornerback Collin Wright. Stanford will also host wide receiver Jayson Raines (NAU) and offensive lineman Austin Uke (Miami OH).
Barth transferred to The Farm after spending the first five seasons of his career at California. He played in all 12 games with the Cardinal and made five starts while setting career-highs in tackles (32), tackles-for-loss (4), and sacks (2). He is a four-time conference academic team selection, including the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team.
Buckey spent all five seasons at Stanford, playing 35 games and starting four, including 33 games played over his final three seasons. He made his mark in Big Game lore in 2024 when he recorded three sacks, the most in a game during his Cardinal career. His work off the field has been even more impactful, taking home the team’s Chris Draft Award twice as a nod to his special commitment to community outreach.
Doyle worked his way from the College of San Mateo as a freshman and sophomore to eventually reach Stanford as a fifth-year senior in 2025. He also spent two seasons at Memphis prior to transferring to Stanford, where he caught seven touchdowns over two seasons. In his lone season as a Cardinal, Doyle appeared in every game and was one of the team’s starting tight ends on the road at SMU.
Dubre began his career as a special teams star before seeing time at linebacker as a fifth-year senior. He played in 38 games across his final four seasons and earned a pair of ACC All-Academic Team selections. He set career-highs across the board defensively in 2025, including his first career half-sack, which came in Stanford’s win in the 128th Big Game.
Gulbranson began the 2025 season as Stanford’s starting quarterback and threw for a career-high 1,813 yards with nine touchdowns. He had a streak of 122 consecutive passes without an interception, the longest of his career, between Weeks 3-6. He also threw for 444 yards and engineered a comeback win against San Jose State on Sept. 27, the most passing yards in a game by an ACC quarterback in 2025 and the third-most in a single game in Stanford history.
Patterson was one of the best defensive linemen in the ACC in 2025, earning All-ACC First Team honors from PFF. He started all 12 games at defensive tackle and led the Cardinal with four sacks, including three in the team’s first two games. His career began at Yale for four seasons, and he compiled 26.5 sacks over six years of college football, earning AP Third Team All-America honors in 2021 with the Bulldogs.
Roush is one of the top tight end prospects in this year’s draft. He led ACC tight ends in receiving yards (545) and tied for the lead in tight end receptions (49) in 2025, leading to All-ACC Second Team honors. Those marks both ranked in the top-10 in the country for tight ends, and as dangerous as he is catching the ball, his metrics as a blocker are just as strong. He finishes his Stanford career with 34 starts, 119 receptions for 1,201 yards, and four touchdowns.
A transfer to Stanford in 2025, Washington played in nine games during his lone season on The Farm, seeing time in Stanford’s secondary. He spent the first four seasons of his career at Dartmouth, where he broke up 20 passes and blocked two kicks on special teams. He was named First Team All-Ivy League and Division I All-New England in 2024.
Williams made his lone season at Stanford count. After spending his first four seasons at USC and Wisconsin, Williams led the Cardinal with 59 receptions for 749 yards and six touchdowns, finishing one touchdown shy of leading the ACC. His four 100-yard games were the most by a Cardinal since 2018, and he was the first Cardinal receiver since 1999 to eclipse 100 yards in three consecutive games when he did so during Weeks 4-7.
In four seasons at cornerback, Wright established himself as the leader of the Stanford secondary. He was the team’s season-long defensive captain as a redshirt junior, and took back his lone interception of the season for a touchdown in Stanford’s home-opening win over Boston College. He had five interceptions in his career, including three as a junior in 2024.
Media will be allowed entry beginning at 9 a.m. at the field entrance nearest the Varsity Field Hockey Turf.
In 2025, Cardinal wide receiver Elic Ayomanor was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. Stanford has had at least one player taken in every NFL draft since 2010, and its 57 draft picks during that span are the fourth-most among current ACC schools.
