- Stanford women’s golf is sending five current golfers and one future Card to the 2026 Augusta National Women’s Amateur, running from April 1-4.
- The four-day event is considered one of the most prestigious amateur tournaments in the world, taking place at Champions Retreat and Augusta National.
- The first two rounds of stroke play take place at Champions Retreat on April 1-2. The entire field will then play a practice round at Augusta National on April 3, before the top 30 and ties advance to the final round at Augusta National on April 4.
- Megha Ganne is one of the most experienced competitors in the field. She is making her sixth championship start in 2026 and has made the final cut the last three years. Last year, she opened the tournament with a 9-under 63, setting a new Augusta National Women’s Amateur scoring record.
- Andrea Revuelta makes her third appearance in 2026 and was the highest-finishing Cardinal in last year’s event. She was at par or better in all three rounds, posting an 8-under 208, tying her for fourth in the field.
- Another Cardinal with ample experience is Meja Örtengren, back for year five. She made the cut last year and has done so twice in her ANWA career, placing as high as 12th in 2022.
- Kelly Xu is making her third appearance in 2026, on the heels of a 2025 performance that was her best in Augusta. She was at par or better in all three rounds, making the cut for the first time, and shooting a 1-under 71 in the final round.
- Paula Martín Sampedro has made the cut at Augusta during her two previous trips and looks to do the same in 2026. Last year, she finished tied for 18th, and while she has played well at Champions Retreat, she has yet to finish under par at Augusta National in the final round.
- Nikki Oh announced her commitment to Stanford in November, and she makes her second ANWA appearance this year.
- Last year, all six Cardinal in the field advanced to the final round, the most by one team in the history of the event.
- Stanford has had one winner of the Augusta National Women's Amateur. Rose Zhang won the event in 2023.
