STANFORD, Calif. — Having had a blistering start to the 2026 campaign, Mallory Hasselbeck has been named to the 2026 Tewaaraton Award Watch List as part of the first round of additions announced by the Tewaaraton Foundation on Thursday. Hasselbeck joins teammates Ava Arceri and Aliya Polisky for the award that honors the top men’s and women’s lacrosse players in the country.
Hasselbeck has posted career-high numbers in scoring this season, amassing a new career-high in points with 30 so far this season. Having amassed 26 points in 46 games at Boston College, Hasselbeck has only needed seven games with Stanford to surpass those numbers including posting 13 combined points in the last two games. Hasselbeck has set and broken her career-high in points three times this season including twice this past week with six points against No. 21/18 Virginia and seven against Virginia Tech. Her four goal outing against the Hokies also set a new single-game high.
The Weston, Mass., native earns her first nod on the Watch List as she currently slots second on the Cardinal in points and goals (15) while pacing the Cardinal with a team-leading 15 assists. Hasselbeck has scored in all but one game this season and has put up four or more points in five games this season including the last three.
No. 2 Stanford is back in action this weekend, hosting Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) foe Duke on Sunday, March 8. Opening draw from Cagan Stadium is slated for 1 p.m. PT.
