Razeghi, Chang Garner All-ACC Accolades

Razeghi was selected in singles and doubles, while Chang earned the honor in doubles

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – After a strong conference slate that saw Stanford tie for third place in the league standings, Alex Razeghi and Alex Chang have earned All-ACC status. Razeghi was named to the second team in singles and the tandem of Chang and Razeghi was voted to the second team in doubles.

Earning his first All-ACC honor, Razeghi has enjoyed a breakout sophomore campaign, going 20-3 on the season in singles with a 17-1 mark in dual action and 9-1 record in ACC contests. Razeghi is 4-0 this season against ranked opponents while clinching a team-leading five matches. The Humble, Texas native earned a career-best ITA singles position of No. 54 in the latest rankings on April 21, and he is one of only two players at his rank or higher with at least 20 wins this season and three or fewer losses.

Chang and Razeghi have enjoyed a standout season on the court together, with both players earning their first All-ACC status in doubles. The duo is 17-8 on the season with a 11-6 mark in dual play all at No. 1 doubles with three ranked wins. The pair was previously named the ACC Doubles Team of the Week on Feb. 19 and to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships All-Tournament Team at No. 1 doubles, and they earned a career-best No. 6 ITA ranking on March 17.

Stanford finished its ACC Championships run in the semifinals and it enters the NCAA Tournament with a 17-8 overall record, including a 9-4 mark in ACC action.
