FRISCO, Texas — The Fortinet Founders Assistant Women’s Golf Coach, Brooke Riley, has been named to the inaugural watch list for the Golf Pride WGCA Assistant Coach of the Year.
15 of the best assistant coaches in the country earned a spot on the watch list, recognizing a coach whose leadership, preparation, and commitment elevate their program’s performance and positively impact the student-athlete experience.
Riley has been no stranger to success during her time on The Farm. Currently in the middle of her fourth season, she has helped Stanford to an overall record of 463-20-5 in head-to-head scoring. Stanford has more team wins (26) and individual wins (22) than head-to-head losses (20) with Riley on staff.
Stanford has won two conference championships and two NCAA titles during Riley’s tenure and has piled up 17 All-Americans over the last three years. The records don’t stop there – nine of the ten lowest 18-hole team scores and seven of the 10 lowest 54-hole team scores have come since Riley’s arrival. Additionally, the top three leaders in career scoring average have spent their entire careers under Riley’s tutelage.
The inaugural recipient of the Golf Pride WGCA Assistant Coach of the Year will be announced after the 2026 NCAA Championship.
