Huske Claims ACC's Top Honor

Huske becomes first Cardinal swimmer since 2018 to sweep "Swimmer of the Year" awards

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford swimmer Torri Huske was named ACC Swimmer of the Year, as the conference office announced its annual awards on Thursday morning.

After previously being named the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Swimmer of the Year last month, Huske becomes the first Cardinal swimmer to sweep the CSCAA and conference honors since Ella Eastin in 2018.

It is the second time that Huske has won the conference's top honor, previously earning the award under the Pac-12 banner in 2023. She becomes the 17th conference Swimmer of the Year in program history, and the first as a member of the ACC.

Huske concluded her decorated career with a historic NCAA Championship performance, winning national titles in each of her three individual events, the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and 100 butterfly. Huske's performances in the 50 and 100 freestyle broke program records, making her the second-fastest woman of all-time in both events.

Huske added four additional All-America honors in the relay events, joining Catherine Fox, Misty Hyman, and Julia Smit as just the fourth swimmer in program history to earn the maximum of 28 All-America honors.

Stanford is coming off a national runner-up finish at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships for the second consecutive season, securing the best finish under a first-year head coach since 1980 in Paul A. Violich Director of Women's Swimming Chris Lindauer's debut season.
