STANFORD, Calif. – Four Stanford men’s tennis players have been honored for their work in the classroom, alongside their production on the court, on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team. Alex Chang, Nico Godsick, Alex Razeghi and Hudson Rivera earned the honor, and Chang and Razeghi were selected to advance to the national ballot.
Chang, a transfer from California, earned his second-career academic all-district selection. The Berkeley native went 15-11 in singles and 20-13 in doubles this season, and was ranked as high as No. 41 in singles and No. 6 in doubles this season, alongside Razeghi, where the duo was an All-ACC second team selection.
Razeghi posted a team-leading 21-4 singles record on the season, including an 18-2 dual mark, and a 21-13 record in doubles. He was also named to the All-ACC second team in singles, in addition to his doubles honor, and the pair was named All-ACC Doubles Team on the Week and to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships All-Tournament team at No. 1 doubles in February. Razeghi posted career-best rankings of No. 6 in doubles and No. 54 in singles.
Godsick tallied a 12-7 record in singles and 11-1 mark in doubles, and he was ranked as high as No. 78 in singles and No. 16 in doubles this season. Previously and All-Pac-12 honorable mention selection in 2024, the honor is his first from CSC.
Rivera was ranked as high as No. 16 in doubles and No. 48 in singles this season, posting records of 15-10 in singles and 13-14 in doubles as a junior. He tallies his first-career academic all-district selection from CSC.
