STANFORD, Calif. — Continuing to rake in the postseason accolades, six Stanford Lacrosse players have been named to Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-West/Midwest teams, the organization announced on Thursday. The six nominees is the most of any team in the region and is tied for the most All-Region honorees in program history.
Earning nods on the All-West/Midwest First Team, Kate Bellissimo headlines the list of three honorees for the Cardinal that includes Aliya Polisky and Annabel Frist. The three honorees is tied for the most of any program on the First Team list. Grabbing spots on the second team is Ava Arceri, Rylee Bouvier and Jordyn Case.
Earning her first collegiate All-Region honor, Kate Bellissimo has been a stalwart on the Stanford defense as she leads the Cardinal in ground balls (52) while leading the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) in ground balls per game (2.5). Bellissimo also broke Stanford’s single-game record for caused turnovers with eight in the win over Duke earlier this season. Bellissimo ranks 10th all-time in career caused turnovers after nabbing 33 of her 66 career caused turnovers this season. Bellissimo was also named a USA Lacrosse First Team All-American earlier this month.
Joining Bellissimo on the First Team, Aliya Polisky and Annabel Frist find themselves back on the All-Region list for the third and second time in their college careers, respectively. Both players were also named USA Lacrosse All-Americans earlier this month with Polisky being named to the Third Team while Frist was an honorable mention. Polisky has now earned three All-West/Midwest honors and is back on the First Team for the second-straight season as she leads the Cardinal in points (76) and goals (49) while earning a career-high 27 assists this season. Frist has enjoyed a resurgent year having missed 27 games entering the season as the fifth-year ranks sixth on the team in points with a 26-8-34 line while placing second on the team in draw controls with 72. Frist is Stanford’s all-time leader in draw controls having broken the program record of 372 draw controls earlier this season.
On the second team, a trio of Cardinal find themselves on the list having had strong seasons in 2026. Rylee Bouvier earns her first All-Region honor having had a career-defining season in 2026 as she leads the team with her all-time single-season record 38 caused turnovers. Bouvier has also been a force offensively with 27 points as the senior is one game away from placing second in program history in career games played as she has appeared in 77 during her Stanford career.
Having been tabbed a USA Lacrosse All-American Honorable Mention, Jordyn Case was named to the All-West/Midwest second team for the first time in her college career as she is fifth on the team in points with 40 on the campaign while posting 24 goals. Case also leads the Cardinal in draw controls this season with 74 while her 147 draw controls ranks sixth-most in program history. Ava Arceri is back on the Second Team for the second-straight season having had another torrid offensive campaign with 58 points courtesy of 47 goals. Arceri co-leads the team in free-position goals with nine while posting her second-consecutive 50+ point season.
Stanford is back in action tonight for the NCAA Quarterfinals against the No. 2-seeded North Carolina Tar Heels. Opening draw from UNC’s Dorrance Field is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT.
