STANFORD, Calif. — Stanford women’s lacrosse continues to rake in the postseason accolades as four Cardinal have been tabbed as ILWomen/Nike Lacrosse DI Media All-Americans, the organization announced on Friday. The four honorees included were also named to USA Lacrosse All-America lists just over a week ago.
Kate Bellissimo lands as a First Team Media All-American for the first time in her collegiate career having been tabbed a First Team All-American by USA Lacrosse a week ago. The All-ACC Second Team member also made the Tewaaraton Top 25, joining teammate Aliya Polisky as the first Cardinal to be named to the Top 25 since 2021. Bellissimo ends her fifth-year season as the program’s single-game record holder in caused turnovers with eight in the win over Duke earlier this season while her 34 caused turnovers ranks fourth all-time in a single season in program history. Bellissimo started all 22 games for Stanford and ended the 2026 campaign ranked 10th all-time in career caused turnovers (67).
Earning her third-straight ILWomen All-America honor, Aliya Polisky found herself on the Second Team for the first time in her career. Polisky ends the 2026 campaign with 78 points which ranks tied for sixth all-time while earning her third-straight 50+ goal season. The junior also earned a career-high 27 assists this season to lead the Cardinal offensively. Polisky became the fourth Cardinal to achieve 200 career points this season as she ranks third all-time with 231. She also ranks 10th all-time in career assists with 62.
Earning spots on the All-America list as Honorable Mentions, Annabel Frist and Jordyn Case grab the postseason honors having had successful seasons following injury. Frist, who missed 27 games from the 2024 season onward into 2026, had a bounceback campaign this season as a two-way midfielder, contributing in all three facets of the field. Frist is Stanford’s all-time career draw control leader with 393 while becoming the fifth Cardinal to achieve 200 career points with her first of two goals against North Carolina in the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinal. Case, meanwhile, was an instrumental part of Stanford’s 2026 success, securing the game-winning goal in the Second Round of the NCAA tournament as Stanford advanced past the first weekend for the first time in program history while also leading the team with 80 draw controls on the campaign. Case’s All-American Honorable Mention honor is the second of her career.
