STANFORD, Calif. — Having success on the field, Stanford women’s lacrosse continues to break records as four Cardinal have been tabbed USA Lacrosse All-America lists, the organization announced on Thursday. The four honorees are the most awarded to Stanford in program history.

Kate Bellissimo lands as a First Team All-American for the first time in her collegiate career in what has been a career season to date. The All-ACC Second Team member was also named an Inside Lacrosse DI Women’s Media First Team All-American and made the Tewaaraton Top 25, joining teammate Aliya Polisky as the first Cardinal to be named to the Top 25 since 2021. Bellissimo is Stanford’s single-game record holder in caused turnovers with eight in the win over Duke earlier this season while her 31 caused turnovers ranks tied for fifth all-time in a single season in program history. Bellissimo also leads the Cardinal with a career-high 47 ground balls this season.

Earning her third-straight USA Lacrosse All-America honor, Aliya Polisky found herself on the Third Team for the second-consecutive season. Polisky currently leads the Cardinal with 70 points this season while placing second with 44 goals. Polisky has also played a vital role in Stanford’s spread offense, earning a career-high 26 assists this season as a result. Polisky became the fourth Cardinal to achieve 200 career points this season as she ranks third all-time with 223 points heading into Friday’s NCAA First Round matchup. She also ranks 10th all-time in career assists with 61.

Earning spots on the All-America list as Honorable Mentions, Annabel Frist and Jordyn Case grab the postseason honors having had successful seasons following injury. Frist, who missed 27 games from the 2024 season onward into 2026, has had a bounceback campaign as a two-way midfielder as she leads the team in draw controls with 69 after breaking Stanford’s career draw control record earlier this spring. Frist ranks seventh all-time in career points needing four to become the fifth Cardinal in program history to achieve 200 career points. Case, meanwhile, has continued to aid Stanford in its record season, providing 21 goals and 36 points while aiding Stanford’s defense to top marks in the nation. Case’s nod as an Honorable Mention is the first of her collegiate career.

Stanford begins its NCAA Tournament run on Friday, May 8 as the No. 6/5 Cardinal squares off against No. 19 Penn State. Opening draw from the UM Lacrosse Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan is slated for 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT.
