Isabelle Foster Season 2014-15

2014-15 (Freshman)
• IRA Team National Champion
• IRA Silver Medal in the 2x
• Member of the second varsity eight and novice eight
• Posted eight victories on the year
• Silver medal in the IRA Grand Final of the 2x with Hannah Levy 
• Finished fifth at the PCRC
• Sat in bow seat for both the 2V8 and novice eight as the two boats won titles at the WIRA Championships
• Won the Petite Final of the Lightweight Invite 
• Defeated the No. 2 Cal 4V8 at the Big Row
• Recorded a second place finish in a dual with Boston University 
• Came in second overall with the 2V8 at the San Diego Crew Classic after winning the heat race
• Made her collegiate debut at the 50th Head of the Charles, placing eighth overall and fifth among colleges

National
• Selected to the four for the 2014 World Development Team and trained in Banyoles, Spain in 2013
• Attended the U.S. Sculling Selection Camp in 2013
• Went to the U.S. Sculling Development Camp in 2012
• Competed in the Jr. B Women’s Double at the Independence Day Regatta in 2012

High School
• Graduated from Lyme-Old Lyme High School in 2014
• Team captain in 2014
• Won the women’s four at the CT Public School Rowing Championships in 2011 and 2014
• Finished second in the varsity four at the National Schools’ Championship regatta in 2014
• Raced in three events at the 2014 Club Nationals, posting a third place finish in the lightweight 4+
• Placed fifth in the varsity four at the New England Interscholastic Rowing Association regatta
• Received the Coaches Award in 2013
• Rowed for the Blood Street Sculls and Southeastern Connecticut Rowing Clubs
• Won the lightweight single at the Head of the Fish regatta in 2012 and took second in 2013
• Placed first in the Jr. B lightweight CT Indoor Rowing Championships in 2013
• Eighth at the 2013 C.R.A.S.H. B’s
• Made the USRowing Scholastic Honor Roll and was named a Shoreline Conference Scholar Athlete in 2013-14
• Also competed in indoor track
