AT STANFORD: Fifth-year senior is expected to hold down the starting job at left cornerback...along with Bo McNally, ranks as Stanford's most experienced player in the secondary with 13 career starts...possibly made the most strides of any Stanford player during spring drills and was selected as the team's most improved defensive player at the conclusion of spring workouts...Pac-10 100-meter champion has the size and speed to be a major factor in the secondary...has career totals of 104 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions and 14 pass breakups heading into his senior campaign...continues Stanford's tradition of outstanding two-sport athletes as he has been a four-year mainstay on the Cardinal track team.
2007 (SENIOR): Played in all 12 games and made seven starts at left cornerback...was inserted into the starting lineup for the second game of the season against San Jose State and started seven straight games through the Oregon State game...finished with 45 tackles, including 26 solo stops...led the team in passes defended (9) and pass breakups (8)...intercepted one pass and had one tackle-for-loss...had a career-high eight tackles, including five solo efforts, in the season-opener against UCLA...had a career-best four pass breakups the following weekend against San Jose State...his lone interception came in the fourth quarter at USC which helped set up the game winning drive...also had a career-high six solo tackles against the Trojans....along with Jay Ottovegio, earned the Phil Moffat Award honoring the team's top special teams player.
2006 (JUNIOR): Played in all 12 games and made six starts at cornerback...earned first team All-Pac-10 honors as a specialist with outside coverage on punt returns his specialty...was named the winner of the Deswarte-Eller Award as the team's most outstanding sophomore and earned the Phil Moffat Award for the most outstanding defensive special teams player at Stanford's year-end awards banquet...was also one of four captains as selected by his teammates...finished sixth on the team in tackles (52) and led the team in pass breakups (6)...had a career-high three pass breakups at Notre Dame...had tackles-for-loss at Oregon State and vs. Arizona...provided one of the most exciting moments of the season when he returned an interception 72-yards for a touchdown against Arizona...marked the fourth-longest interception return in Stanford history...had a career-best eight tackles against Washington State...tied his career-high with five solo stops at Oregon and Washington.
2005 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 11 games on special teams and as a reserve in the secondary...made seven tackles, including four solo efforts, totaling one each in seven different contests.
