  • Three-time All-PAL first-team selection (2008-10), and named second-team All-PAL as a freshman in 2007
  • Named first-team All-American and CCS Most Valuable Goalie as a senior
  • Earned fourth-team All-America status as a junior in 2009
  • Earned second-team All-PAL in swimming as a sophomore
  • Played club for Stanford Water Polo Club and for NorCal Water Polo Club
  • Helped team to fourth-place finish at 2010 Junior Olympics
  • Captured Hawaiian Invitational title four times (2006-08, 2010), being named MVP of the tournament in 2010

Personal

  • Born in Stanford, Calif.
  • Parents are Chris and Marybeth Dorst
  • Both parents graduated from and were student-athletes at Stanford
  • Father Chris was a two-time All-American as a goalie for the men's water polo team and a two-time U.S. Olympian (1980, '84), winning silver at the 1984 Los Angeles Games
  • Mother Marybeth (Linzmeier) was an eight-time NCAA champion swimmer for the Cardinal and earned a spot on the 1980 U.S. Olympic Team
  • Has two older sisters, Lindsay and Rebecca, who play water polo for California and UCLA, respectively
  • An aunt, Jane Clark, also graduated from Stanford and was a Stanford Dolly
