As a Freshman in 2009: Started all 32 matches - the only Stanford player to do so - and led the team in sets played (116) ... named to the All-MPSF third team and All-MPSF freshmen team... named MPSF player of the week for Feb. 2 after he had a collegiate career-high 27 kills (.438) - including several late in a tight third set - and 11 digs to lead Stanford from a two-set deficit to beat Long Beach State (Jan. 30) ... second behind Evan Romero in kills with 400, a school record for freshman in the rally-scoring era (since 2001) ... averaged 3.45 kills per set... recorded 117 digs for the season, reaching double-digits against BYU, Long Beach State, and Pepperdine... averaged 1.53 digs per set ... scored 18 service aces for the season.

International: Teamed with Erik and Kawika Shoji on the United States team at the World University Games in Shenzhen, China, in August, 2011 ... had 14 kills, 10 digs, and two aces against the Czech Republic ... the U.S. finished 12th, though it posted a 5-3 record ... joined Erik Shoji on the 12-player U.S. team that reached the second round of the 2009 FIVB Junior World Championships in India ... played for the U.S. junior national team at the 2008 NORCECA championships in El Salvador and for the U.S. youth national team in 2006 and 2007.

High School/Club: Regarded as the nation's top recruit from the class of 2008 ... Volleyball Magazine's Fab 50 captain ... Mizuno first-team All-American and Player of the Year ... had 28 kills in a three-set sweep of Erik Shoji's Punahou team to give Iolani of Honolulu the Hawaii Division I state title for 2007-08 ... lettered four years in volleyball and one in canoe paddling ...
