Ardsley Sanders Season 2013-14

2015-16 (Junior)
• Second Team Pac-12 All-Academic selection
• Named to the IRA All-Academic squad
• Coxswain for the varsity eight all season
• Guided the varsity eight to an eighth-place finish at the IRA Championships
• Led the Cardinal’s top boat to a third-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships

2014-15 (Sophomore)
• Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention
• Split time as coxswain of the varsity eight and second varsity eight
• Won three races with the varsity eight
• Led the varsity eight to a sixth place finish in the C Final at the IRA National Championships for 18th overall
• Finished fourth with the 2V8 at the Pac-12 Championships
• Guided the varsity eight to a pair of victories at the Stanford Invitational, taking down Santa Clara and UC San Diego
• Came in second with the 2V8 to Oregon State and Wisconsin at the Pac-12 Challenge
• Took second with the 2V8 in a dual against No. 8 Boston University
• Notched a fifth place finish with the 2V8 at the San Diego Crew Classic
• Led the varsity eight to a victory at the Head of the American, while placing second in the open 4+

2013-14 (Freshman)
• Coxswain at different times for all three boats during the spring 
• Finished in 17th place of the second varsity eight at the IRA National Championships 
• Placed fourth with the frosh eight at the Pac-12 Championships 
• Went undefeated in three races at the Davis Invitational, guiding the varsity eight, varsity four and JV four to victories
• Won both her races at the Stanford Invitational against UCSD with the 1V8 and UC Davis with the frosh eight 
• Lost to No. 2 Cal with the frosh eight in the Big Row 
• Guided the 2V8 to a sixth place finish in the Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic
• Lost in dual races against Washington (2V8) and Oregon State (F8)
• Made her collegiate debut as a coxswain by leading the Novice 8+ to a win at the Head of the American

High School
• Graduated in 2013 from Santa Monica High School 
• Rowed for the Marina Aquatic Center Junior Rowing Club from 2009-13 
• Won the 2012 Head of the Charles and placed second in 2011 
• Invited to selection camp in 2013 
• Coxed the first Marina Aquatic Center women’s eight to ever qualify for the Junior Nationals in 2013
