The best part about being a Stanford athlete is:
The high level of competitiveness in and out of the water.
The Stanford water polo team will be fun to watch this year because:
We play a fast paced game with a lot of action and our team has a ton of athleticism.
For me to improve as a player I need to:
Develop better length strength.

The constant contact, the competition, and the rush that you get in games.
The most difficult opposing pool to play in is:
UCLA because the fans are so close to the pool.

The best advice I ever received was:
From my Mom: "Cree en tu misma, en tus propias convicciones, no dejes que nadie influye en ti, y no dejes que te falten el respecto" (Believe in yourself, in your own convictions, don't let anyone influence you, don't let anyone disrespect you.).
Opponent you would most like to beat:
It's a tie between UCLA and USC.
The current or former Stanford athlete I most enjoy watching perform:
Logan Tom (volleyball).
If I could go up against any other Stanford athlete (non women's water polo) it would be:
John Elway-in a water polo shoot out.
Favorite actor: John Travolta.
Favorite actress: Julia Roberts.
Someplace that you have not been, but wish to visit: South Africa.
If I could bring anything from my hometown to Stanford it would be: Lucky Burgers-they have the best breakfast burritos.
Since coming to Stanford I have learned: How to organize my time between academics and water polo.
If you could play another sport at Stanford, what would it be: Softball.
One moment in history I wish I could have seen: Martin Luther King Jr. delivering his "I Have a Dream" speech.
After my Stanford career is over, I'd like to be remembered as: Stanford's first-ever women's water polo NCAA champion.
Ten years from now I hope to be: Successful and happily married with kids.
Favorite Food: Mexican-especially my Mom's enchiladas.

Favorite sport other than water polo: Watching basketball.
If I won $1 million dollars, I would: Invest it well, so that I could build a pool solely for the women's water polo team.

Advice that I would give to youngsters who want to play collegiate water polo: Choose a school that you will be compatible with in and out of the water.
How did you spend last summer: Vacationing with friends in Cancun and playing at the World Championships in Japan.
