STANFORD, Calif. - Junior Nicole Powell (Phoenix, AZ) and sophomore Kelley Suminski (Chester, NJ) were named Stanford women's basketball co-most valuable players at the annual team banquet on Tuesday night.
Powell, who was named a Kodak All-American for the second consecutive season, averaged 18.8 points, 9,3 rebounds and 3.8 assists. She was also named First-Team All-Pac-10 and Pac-10 Tournament MVP.
Suminski, who was named First-Team All-Pac-10, averaged 11.4 points, 3.1 reboundsand 3.1 assists. She was also named to the Pac-10 Tournament Team.
