STANFORD, Calif. - Redshirt junior setter Kevin Hansen was selected to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Third Team, as announced by the MPSF office on Friday. The all-conference selection is the third for Hansen, after earning honorable mention recognition in 2002 and 2003.
On the season, Hansen led the Cardinal with 1,169 assists and 188 digs. Hansen's 11.93 assist per game average was the 18th best average in the nation. The Newport Beach, CA native ranks fourth on Stanford's all-time list with 3,804.
BYU setter Carlos Moreno was named the MPSF Player of the Year, while UC Santa Barbara opposite hitter Evan Patak was named MPSF Freshman of the Year. UC San Diego Head Coach Ron Larsen was named MPSF Coach of the Year.
